Been a while since I made a journal entry here... Hope you're all well! You may or may not remember a webcomic I started way back in 2013 called Lost in the Vale. Well, it's been on hiatus for the past several years and this past October I finally started working on it again. If you wanna see TONS of in-progress art I've been doing for these new pages, check out my Instagram story highlights "Comic WIPs". I've been posting sketches, lineart, colors, etc there for the past 7 months. Lol I'm almost done with the next 10 pages, which completes issue 1 (a double issue of 50 pages). And I'll be posting those up in bulk asap. (Why drag it out at this point? Lol) I should also mention that Alan (co-creator/writer/husband) has scripted through issue 3, first draft scripts through issue 7, and outlines through issue 20, which is the entire first story arch. ( I'll make posts/updates here when that's all done. I'm also updating some art on the old pages because there's stuff on there that makes me cringe now lol.) We're also gonna update the website to make it easier for mobile readers. SO ANYWAYS I hope some of you may remember these characters and check out the comic when it's updating again, which will be in the next few weeks. And thanks to those of you who read LitV before and have held out hope for its return... You guys are the best. Here's a crop of a panel I finished the other night.
